Exhibition: Ju-Nel Homes: Dallas Jewels of Mid-Century Modernism.

The exhibition is presented in partnership with White Rock Home Tour.

Ju-Nel Homes was founded in 1958 by Lyle Rowley and Jack Wilson, both of whom got their start working for famed Dallas architect Howard Meyer.  Their homes were family-friendly, site-sensitive and Modernist jewels.

The exhibition will examine Ju-Nel Homes architecture in the context of other mid-century modern architecture in Dallas and elsewhere. The show will include original Ju-Nel Homes drawings and blueprints, photos of the architects and homes, period advertisements and artifacts drawn from the personal collections of the Ju-Nel architects’ family, employees and homeowners.

The exhibition is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Cost: Free and open to the public.
