Dallas Center for Architecture

In the early 1960s in Hermosa Beach, California, surfer and amateur photographer LeRoy Grannis began documenting the burgeoning surfing scene along the Southern California coast.  This exhibition captures surfing’s golden years and the entire surfing lifestyle in California and Hawaii, including the fashions, landscapes and architecture.  The exhibition is organized by independent curator Cynthia Mulcahy.

It will be accompanied by a brochure giving you the opportunity to explore Dallas' own "surfing" sites on your own.

DCFA is open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.  We will be closed September 7.
