AIA Dallas

The Dallas chapter of The American Institute of Architects serves as host and operational manager of the Dallas Center for Architecture. DCFA is the result of a three year vision of the AIA Dallas leadership to reach beyond its traditional administrative support of the membership to deliver programming and collaboration with like-minded people who support the built environment, the value of architecture, and community planning.

AIA Dallas is challenged to grow the DCFA and its public programming while keeping a focus on four core areas of interest to its membership:

  • Education of young architects, leadership development, and professional growth for licensed architects.
  • Practice Advocacy promoting the professional interest of its membership and advocacy at the local, state and federal level.
  • Outreach to create allied and academic networks to build public awareness of the value of architecture and planning for livable communities.
  • Environmental advocacy promoting sustainable design.

AIA Dallas represents 2200 architects, associates and professional affiliates.  For more information on the Chapter, visit www.aiadallas.org.
